Lower College Singing Competition
Celebrating vocal talent across Classical, Music Theatre and Pop
The Lower College Third and Fourth Form Singing Competition Final celebrated the impressive vocal talent of pupils across the Lower College.
Following Autumn Term auditions, 17 singers were selected to perform in three categories — Classical, Music Theatre and Pop — to an enthusiastic audience of friends and family.
The programme included a varied mix of repertoire, from classical art songs and music theatre favourites such as Les Misérables to popular songs by artists including Olivia Dean, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere throughout the evening.
The competition was adjudicated by the College’s Head of Performance, Mr Coxon, and visiting singing teacher Mrs Parker, who were impressed by the high standard of vocal ability, musical interpretation and confident stage presence on display.
