Engage & Excel Congratulations to Harry (Third Form, Xt) who competed in the 2024 U17 Men's World Rowing Indoor Championships this weekend - representing GB in Prague! 🇬🇧 Harry was the youngest competitor and finished with a personal best of 1:33.1 which placed him 9th in the European Championships and 17th in the World Championships. Well done Harry!

Engage & Excel The countdown is on for our Charity Netball Match! Our 1st Team have been busy training ready for the match against @malverncollege on 5 March. All fundraising from the event will go to College’s chosen charity of the year, @thenationalstar ⭐️ With the money raised by College, National Star will be purchasing 16 ‘Mollii Suits’, an innovative piece of equipment which helps to improve the quality of life for young people with disabilities.

Leaps & Bounds Cheltenham College Science Department were pleased to note their mention in a recent article in ‘Chemistry World’ In 2017 College took part in Project M: investigating the effect of additives on calcium carbonate crystallisation through a school citizen science program. The project was run out of the Diamon Light Source in Oxfordshire. Although the cutting edge research took part seven years ago, the paper was published this year (as scientific research can move slowly)! Green & Grow As part of the DofE ‘Green Up College’ project, our pupils have been involving themselves in sustainable gardening initiatives. Within the project, our pupils are growing houseplants and installing them across the College. Not only will this increase our air quality, but it also aims to increase mental health through having greener indoor spaces! 🌱🌿

The fundraising event was in aid of College's chosen charities; National Star and Langa Township Preschool Trust, Cape Town.

Loud & Clear Thursday evening was a brilliant showcase of musical talent at the Charity Cabaret show. The event was open to Upper College pupils, parents and staff, who watched acts including; JIG, Collegei8, String T’ing, Sixth Form vocalists and instrumentalists performing songs from Phantom of the Opera and ABBA, impressing the audience with their passion and dedication. All profits from the event will go to College’s chosen charities; National Star and Langa Township Preschool Trust, Cape Town.
