First Gloucestershire Cap for Maddie

A fantastic achievement as Maddie earns her first senior Gloucestershire Women’s Cricket cap.

We are extremely proud of Maddie, who was presented with her first Gloucestershire Women’s Cricket cap ahead of their opening Metro Bank One Day Cup match against Glamorgan Women over the Easter break.

Breaking into the senior women’s team while still at school is a fantastic achievement and reflects Maddie’s hard work, talent and dedication to the game.

She marked her debut with an impressive unbeaten 20 and was also selected for the match against Middlesex Women, where she had the opportunity to play against Old Cheltonian, Abbie Whybrow.

We wish Maddie every success for the season ahead and look forward to following her progress.
