Cheltenham College Polo Crowned National Schools Champions
Cheltenham College Polo enjoyed a hugely successful season, with the Intermediate team winning the National Schools title.
Cheltenham College Polo has enjoyed a fantastic season, taking on some of the country’s top schools in the British Schools Championships, including Eton, Wellington, Harrow, Stowe and Radley.
Both the Open and Intermediate teams performed brilliantly throughout the tournament, securing strong wins and earning their place in the finals.
The standout moment came in the Intermediate final, where Cheltenham fought back against Radley College to be crowned National Schools Champions. After starting at a disadvantage and falling further behind early on, the team showed real determination and teamwork to turn the match around. Congratulations to Elizabeth, Valentine and Raffy on this fantastic achievement.
The Open team also had an excellent tournament, narrowly missing out on the title in a close final against Radley. Hari, Hector and Wilfred all played superbly and should be incredibly proud of their performances.
At Lower Intermediate level, Phia, Alexa and Perdie also had a strong competition, finishing in second place and continuing Cheltenham’s success across the programme.
With the Summer Season ahead and the move onto grass, there is plenty to look forward to for Cheltenham College Polo.
