Cheltonian Society Polo Day
Pupils, Old Cheltonians and families enjoyed an afternoon of exciting polo at Cirencester Park.
The annual Cheltonian Society Polo Day brought together pupils, Old Cheltonians, families and supporters for a fantastic afternoon of polo at Cirencester Park.
The day began with the ‘Next Gen’ match, where future Cheltenham College pupils showcased their developing talent alongside Patrick, representing the Cotswold team.
This was followed by the Poulton Cup, which saw Cheltenham College take on a combined Cotswold Schools team. After four closely contested chukkas, the visitors claimed a narrow 5½–5 victory.
The final fixture was the Cheltonian Society Cup, sponsored by Bakers Fine Jewellery, with Cheltenham College facing the Old Cheltonians. The match featured outstanding skill and competitive spirit, with the Old Cheltonians securing a 6–2½ win.
The day was a wonderful celebration of polo at Cheltenham College, highlighting the strength of the programme while providing a fantastic opportunity for pupils, families and alumni to come together and enjoy a memorable summer afternoon.
