Year 8 Gastronomy Day

Year 8 pupils prepared and served a three-course banquet as part of a memorable day of culinary learning.

Year 8 pupils from Cheltenham Prep enjoyed a memorable Gastronomy Day, learning the skills needed to prepare, present and serve a three-course banquet.

Throughout the day, pupils worked together in the kitchen to create a delicious menu while also learning front-of-house skills, including table setting, serving guests and clearing away. The experience gave pupils a valuable insight into teamwork, hospitality and food preparation.

The day concluded with a special evening banquet, where pupils welcomed and served their parents with confidence and pride. It was a wonderful celebration of everything they had achieved and a fitting finale to an unforgettable day.
