Christmas Eve Service

Thursday 24 December 2026

The traditional Lessons and Carols Christmas Eve service will be held at 4pm on Thursday 24 December.

As the capacity of Chapel has been restricted in recent years due to changes to fire regulations, this is a ticketed event with strictly limited numbers. Initially, limited tickets will be available to the families of the musicians and choir, volunteers coordinating the service, and current staff.

Remaining tickets will be released for general sale at 1pm on Saturday 14 November, with a limit of five tickets per booking, via TicketSource linked here.

We anticipate there will be a high demand for a small number of tickets and cannot guarantee availability. We therefore encourage current families and other Cheltonian Society members to join us for the Cheltonian Society Carol Service on Sunday 6 December. This is the same service as on Christmas Eve, features the College Chamber Choir, and includes mulled wine and mince pies after the service.
