A Successful Summer for Rowing

From new challenges to Half Colours, it has been a memorable Summer Term for the rowing squad.

The Summer Term has been an outstanding season for rowing at Cheltenham College, with pupils demonstrating commitment, resilience and significant progress throughout the term.

In the penultimate week before Activities Week, rowers completed a varied programme that included a 2km ergometer test, single sculling skills sessions, crew boat racing and a mobility workshop. Many pupils also celebrated personal milestones, including their first ergometer tests and successfully completing the standing rigger dips or 360 challenge.

The dedication shown by every member of the squad has helped build a strong foundation for the future, with pupils making excellent progress both individually and as a team.

Congratulations also to Max, Josh, Navid and Delilah, who were awarded Half Colours in recognition of their outstanding commitment and achievements throughout the season.
