The CCF travelled down to Ward Barracks in Bulford on Wednesday 19 March, where pupils were kindly hosted by 5 RIFLES.

Cadets were presented with the opportunity to meet and chat with regular soldiers from our affiliated regiment, The Rifles, strengthening the bond between them and the Cheltenham College CCF. Pupils took part in a range of activities: exploring a Warrior tracked armoured vehicle; looking at infantry weapon systems; taking part in Rifles drill; having a competition when patrolling through an observation lane; and meeting Physical Training Instructors and having a taste of army fitness training.
