Cheltenham College Named Finalist for Independent School of the Year 2026

Celebrating excellence across the College community

Cheltenham College is delighted to announce that it has been named a finalist for Independent School of the Year in the 2026 SoGlos Lifestyle & Community Awards.

This recognition marks a significant moment for the College and reflects the continued commitment to providing an exceptional all-round education. In recent years, Cheltenham College has focused not only on academic achievement, but also on fostering an environment where pupils feel supported, inspired and empowered to develop their individual talents.

From the classroom to the sports field, from the stage to a wide range of co-curricular opportunities, pupils are encouraged to explore their interests and fulfil their potential in a vibrant and nurturing community.

The nomination is a testament to the dedication and passion of staff, the enthusiasm and character of pupils, and the ongoing support of parents, Old Cheltonians and the wider College community. Together, they play a vital role in shaping the distinctive spirit of Cheltenham College.

The College extends its thanks to everyone who has supported and voted, and offers congratulations to the other finalists. It now looks ahead with excitement to the awards evening on Thursday 21 May 2026.
