Cheltenham College pupils achieve outstanding results in 2022 A Level examinations
Pupils at Cheltenham College have today received their A Level results. The achievement of such a positive set of results is welcome recognition for the commitment, energy, and enthusiasm that the pupils have shown throughout their A Level courses. They can now look forward to their next steps in education and future careers.
- 80% of pupils’ results have been graded A* – B
- The top 100 pupils achieved 97% A* – B
- Eleven different academic subjects saw pupils achieve 100% A* – B
Continuous excellence is at the heart of life at Cheltenham College and many of our A Level pupils will now move on to Oxbridge and universities including Bath, Birmingham, Bristol, Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Leeds, Manchester and St Andrews.
Cheltenham College Head Nicola Huggett commented:
“We are delighted with the results achieved by the Upper Sixth of 2022 and congratulate them for their efforts during their time at College. We are hugely proud of them all. Throughout their time at College they have all grown and dedicated themselves to achieving continuous excellence. I hope that this growth and the values that our pupils have developed during their time here, stand them in good stead in their future studies and careers.
I know that our Upper Sixth will echo my comments when I also thank the staff at Cheltenham College for their dedication to supporting our pupils to achieve such positive academic and pastoral outcomes. A school is often only as strong as the staff within it, and the team at Cheltenham College provide a wonderful foundation for our pupils’ success.”
