Cheltonian Society Polo Day Delivers Thrilling Matches at Cirencester Park Polo Club

The Cheltonian Society Polo Day 2025 at Cirencester Park Polo Club proved a resounding success, attracting a strong turnout and showcasing high-quality polo despite occasional showers. The event featured two hotly contested matches: the College Blues defeating the College Whites to win the Poulton Polo Cup, and the Old Cheltonians narrowly overcoming the College Open Team to claim the Society Polo Cup.

The Old Cheltonians’ side included headline sponsors Gus Roberts and Denis Antonov, co-founders of global trading platform Infinox, an idea first conceived in the Christowe Common Room during their College years.

A host of sponsors, including No. 131, Birch Catering, British Polo Gin, Nomad Ideas, Cotswold Fine Jewellery, and the Ephson family, supported this much-anticipated annual polo event. The day celebrated Cheltonian sporting tradition, community spirit, and the exciting spectacle of polo in the Cotswolds.
