Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions

Gold and Silver Duke of Edinburgh groups completed practice expeditions in the Beacons over the Easter break.

Over the Easter break, Gold and Silver Duke of Edinburgh groups completed their practice expeditions in the Beacons.

Both groups faced cold nights, with the Sixth Form Gold groups also tackling wet, windy, and challenging conditions throughout their journey. The Fourth Form Silver groups were fortunate to enjoy brighter weather, with sunny days allowing them to see the countryside at its best.

All pupils showed great resilience, teamwork, and determination, supporting one another throughout the expeditions. A special well done goes to the Gold groups for managing some of the wettest conditions.

Well done to all pupils for showing such resilience, teamwork, and determination throughout the expeditions, especially the Gold groups who faced some of the toughest conditions.
