Fourth Form Ski Trip
During the first week of the Easter Holiday, 49 Fourth Form pupils and seven staff, set off for an unforgettable skiing adventure in Les Deux Alpes in France.
The group quickly settled into a fantastically located hotel and were treated to excellent skiing conditions, with fresh powder on the second day and glorious blue skies for most of the week; perfect for making the most of the resort’s expansive slopes, including the impressive glacier at 3,400 metres accessed by the recently opened Jandri Express.
Each day saw students taking part in five hours of ski school, where they honed their skills on the snow. From complete beginners to seasoned skiers, everyone was appropriately challenged and all appeared to have made impressive progress during the week.
Evenings were just as lively, filled with activities including a fiercely contested bowling night, a lively quiz evening, and the chance to sample some of the local cuisine-the wonderful crêpes and chocolat chaud being a particular highlight.
