House Singing 2025
A Night of Music, Energy, and House Spirit
One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Cheltenham College calendar, House Singing 2025 filled Chapel with music, creativity and unmistakable House spirit. Weeks of rehearsals, choreography and costume planning culminated in a vibrant and memorable evening of performance.
Each House brought its own character to the stage, transforming well-known songs into energetic and entertaining showcases of teamwork and enthusiasm. Westal opened the evening with a powerful rendition of Roar, setting the tone for the night. Southwood followed with an infectious performance of Shut Up and Dance, before Queen’s House charmed the audience with Dear Future Husband. Christowe delivered a confident version of Steal My Girl, while Chandos impressed with a commanding performance of Salute.
Boyne House kept the momentum going with One Thing, Ashmead brought colour and personality to Cheap Thrills, and College Lawn spread smiles with Happy. Newick House added depth and emotion with Love Me Again, Hazelwell delivered intensity through Grenade, and Leconfield closed the evening with a stirring performance of Take Me To Church.
From creative choreography to coordinated costumes, every House demonstrated remarkable commitment and collaboration, making the evening a true celebration of College community spirit.
With such a high standard across the board, the adjudicator faced a difficult decision. The results were as follows:

🥉 Third Place – Newick House
🥈 Second Place – Queen’s House
🥇 First Place – Westal
