Max published in the Financial Times
Max (U6, L) was recently published in the Financial Times!
After reading an article in the Financial times “Football spat focuses on motives of US owners”, Max saw a similarity in the article and the Extended Project Qualification that he completed at College and how it differed to his own findings. He therefore reached out to the Financial Times to share his findings, of which they found interesting enough to include in their next print. Please to view the article.
Well done to Max for showing such initiative and getting published at such a young age!
In Sixth Form, we encourage pupils to complete an EPQ alongside their A Level subjects. Our EPQ allows each student to embark on a largely self-directed and self-motivated project. Students must choose a topic, plan, research and develop their idea and decide on their finished product. We encourage creativity and curiosity. A project topic may be directly related to a student’s main study programme, but should look beyond the specification.
