Cheltenham Nursery School Celebrates First Birthday

Along with staff and council members, children and parents of Cheltenham Nursery School celebrated the Nursery School’s first birthday on Thursday 14 September.

Cheltenham Nursery School was recently recognised as a Top 20 Nursery in the South West by daynurseries.co.uk – the UK’s leading Nursery review website.

The milestone was celebrated with a wonderful birthday party, with children who have enjoyed the facilities and amazing building invited, from both last year and this. The afternoon was spent with children riding on the traditional, hand-operated, carousel, face painting, bubbles, games, music, and old-fashioned sweets.

Cheltenham Prep School Head, Tom O’Sullivan, commented:

“It is hard to believe that Cheltenham Nursery School is only celebrating its first birthday – it has become such a key part of the education we provide here at Cheltenham Prep that it feels like it has been with us forever. It truly is an extraordinarily special environment in which to take those first crucial steps in a child’s educational journey and we are extremely lucky to have such a fabulous facility.

Whilst the building and surroundings are amazing, it is the people within it that really make the difference. The staff are the most impressive part of the Nursery School. They are the ones who really make a huge difference to each child ensuring every day is more magical than the one before and that school is something exciting, fun and challenging to look forward to every morning. We are thrilled to be celebrating this very special birthday with all the children, parents and staff who make it what it is, each and every day.”
