Gloucestershire Young Photographer of the Year 2025
Celebrating Our Students’ Success in the Recent Competition!
Our students excelled in this year’s Gloucestershire Young Photographer of the Year 2025 competition! We are incredibly proud of their achievements. This year’s competition saw a remarkable 1114 entries from 68 schools. Moreover, we had the largest number of entries ever from our pupils, and 14 of our photographs were shortlisted between the primary and senior sections.
In the Primary section, Max, Francesca, Rufus, Reuben, Emme, Elizabeth, Irona, Fifi, and Josephine were all shortlisted. Similarly, Bertram, Finn, Ben, Aden, and Rufus were shortlisted in the Senior Section. Furthermore, two students received ‘Highly Commended’ recognition. Specifically, Reuben was recognised for his photograph ‘Feeding Time’. Likewise, Ben was commended for his photograph ‘Fireworks!’ in their respective categories.
Additionally, Emme achieved an impressive third place overall in the Primary Section for her photograph, ‘Splash Down!’.
Finally, well done to all pupils who submitted a photograph. We eagerly anticipate next year’s entries!
