Odd Socks Day
Pupils across The Prep unite for Anti-Bullying Week 2025
Cheltenham Prep proudly marked Anti-Bullying Week 2025 by bringing the whole school community together, from The Nursery School through to Year 8, with a shared focus on kindness, inclusion and positive action.
Coordinated nationally by the Anti-Bullying Alliance, this year’s theme, Power for Good, encouraged pupils to reflect on what personal power means and how it can be used responsibly. Through assemblies, form time and classroom activities, pupils explored how everyday choices, words and actions can positively influence others, promoting empathy, support and the courage to stand up for what is right.
A highlight of the week was Odd Socks Day, which filled the school with colour and creativity. From tiny mismatched socks in the Nursery School to bold and imaginative combinations across the Prep, pupils celebrated individuality while sending a clear message of unity against bullying.
Anti-Bullying Week at Cheltenham Prep reinforced an important message that kindness, respect and inclusion are values to be lived every day, not just for one week. The school community continues to encourage pupils to use their power positively and to support one another throughout the year.
