In June of this year, Jacob (now Year 5) participated in the Cirencester Swimming Club Championships, which were open to individuals aged 10 and under. Over the course of three weeks, Jacob achieved first place in the event, securing a total of six gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal.

Furthermore, his official recorded time for the 200m backstroke ranked Jacob first in the national rankings for his age group and within the top 10 in the country for a range of other race strokes and distances.
