Cheltenham College Polo Team Win Copenhagen Shield
Strong weekend performance at Guards Polo Club sees College secure silverware in competitive field
Cheltenham College enjoyed a successful weekend of polo at Guards Polo Club on 10–11 May, competing in the Copenhagen Cup against strong opposition including Millfield, Eton College, Radley College, Stowe School and Harrow School.
Led by Hari, the team produced an energetic and composed series of performances, setting a strong tempo throughout the weekend. Hector, in his final appearances for the College, impressed with his consistency and calm authority, while Elizabeth made a confident debut, quickly adapting to the pace of high-level school polo. Wilf also stood out across the competition, delivering influential performances that helped drive the team forward.
Cheltenham concluded the tournament in style, securing the Copenhagen Shield with a commanding 8–3 victory over Stowe.
