How to apply for a Year 7 Scholarship

Applications for a Year 7 scholarship in Academic, Music and/or Sport can be made by current pupils and new pupils for Year 7, and applicants can enter for more than one scholarship if they wish.

Pupils who are new to Cheltenham Prep School need to complete and submit a Registration Form before they put in a scholarship application – please find the online form below.

For those pupils who are currently at The Prep School and wish to apply for a scholarship, please complete and submit the form below.

Scholarships can be combined with a Bursary. For more information about Bursaries please click here.

For September 2027 entry, scholarships will take place in November 2026.

Friday 20th February 2026 at 1pm – closing deadline for Applications

Monday 23rd February 2026 – Sports Scholarships Assessment Day

Tuesday 24th February 2026 – Academic Scholarship Assessments (morning only)

Tuesday 24th February 2026 – Music Scholarship Assessments (afternoon only)
