Cheltenham College is looking to appoint a Saturday Swim Helper from September 2023. This role is based at Cheltenham College Sports Centre and the Swim Helper reports to the Sports Centre Manager via the Swim School Coordinator or Duty Manager.

Working alongside qualified Swim Teachers, our team of Swim Helpers support swimmers in learning to swim or improving their swimming, providing encouragement whilst helping to ensure the lessons are fun as well as challenging and safe.

Applicants must be capable swimmers and should be confident in the water as swim support will be given in the pool as well as at the poolside.

The hourly rate of pay is based on minimum wage for age, but will be between £8.09 and £10.99 per hour, plus an additional figure of between £0.98 and £1.33 per hour in accrued holiday pay.

Hours of work: Saturdays 09:35-13:30
