On a term-time only basis (33 weeks per year) and for a late-August 2022 start, Cheltenham College Preparatory School seeks to appoint a Sports Coach.  The postholder will be expected to take up a resident role in a girls’ boarding house; individual accommodation will be provided.  Because of the nature of pastoral care involved with the children, we require a female coach to take up residency on the girls’ floor.

Experience of coaching netball, hockey or cricket would be advantageous.

The Sports Professional will be responsible for the coaching of pupils in sport throughout the Senior School and The Prep. In their specialist sport(s), the Sports Professional will take a role in managing a coaching development structure across the whole of the Prep. The Sports Professional will work towards College’s Sporting Aims: to promote a lifetime investment in sport and physical activity, where pupils can achieve success from engagement and participation through to competition and elite performance.

The salary will be based on £12.09 per hour (£16,767.21 per annum – based on a full time salary of £23,575.50).
