Pupils impress with monologues, duologues and a radio play premiere
Cheltenham College pupils took to the stage for a captivating LAMDA Showcase during Thursday’s Performance Evening, presenting a varied programme that celebrated dramatic skill and confidence.
The evening featured a series of accomplished monologues and duologues drawn from a wide range of texts. Performances spanned classical works such as Shakespeare’s Hamlet and Wilde’s An Ideal Husband, alongside more contemporary drama including DNA, offering the audience a rich and engaging experience.
A special highlight of the evening was the premiere of the first Agatha Christie murder mystery radio play, A Personal Call. The performance added an exciting new dimension to the showcase and was warmly received by the audience.
The LAMDA Showcase provided a wonderful opportunity for pupils to demonstrate their talent, versatility and dedication to performance.
