Meet our College Prefects

Over the last couple of weeks we have introduced you to a number of our Prefects, all of whom are supporting College with their ideas whilst developing their leadership skills. This week, we would like you to meet Simon (Xt, U6).

“I joined College in Third Form from Swanbourne House School. I am a Lower College Prefect, which means I assist Mr Cutts in his role as Head of Lower College and aid in inductions, assemblies and activities for the Fourth and Fifth form.

I came to College because it is a great all-round school, it doesn’t focus on just one area of College life, sport, academics, co-curricular and music are all equally represented across the school. My favourite thing about College now is how busy I am, with academics, Rugby/Hockey, Rackets, Duke of Edinburgh and CCF.

I wanted a leadership position to develop my own personal skills as well as trying to encourage and persuade younger years to take part in everything College has to offer. I hope to motivate the Fourth and Fifth Form to try new activities in College, to make more connections with others and explore the numerous possibilities at College, some of which I did not start until Sixth Form and that I only wish I had started earlier.

After College I hope to go to University to study either Biology or Zoology.”
