For September 2022, Cheltenham College’s outstanding Chemistry Department, housed within the recently refurbished Science building, seeks to appoint a Chemistry Teacher who will make full use of the excellent facilities at their disposal. We welcome applications from experienced teachers seeking new challenges or teachers beginning their careers who will be provided with the requisite support for an ECT.

In Chemistry, results are excellent and candidates should have the ability to create enthusiasm and excitement for the subject; stretch the highest attaining pupils, (including to Oxbridge level), as well as using a range of strategies to teach across the ability range.

In addition to becoming a vital member of the Chemistry Department, applicants will also wish to contribute to College’s rich co-curricular programme. The ability to teach some Mathematics is desirable and may be advantageous to an application.

The College has its own very competitive salary scale.
