For September 2023, College seeks to appoint an exceptional teacher who can lead Biology across the full ability and age ranges. The appointee will have outstanding subject knowledge, vision and strong leadership skills as well as possessing the ability to innovate and inspire colleagues.

College’s national and international profile is excellent, and the profile of Science has grown significantly, culminating in the recent £3 million refurbishment of the Science facilities. Pupil achievement and attainment in Biology is excellent: 79 % of IGCSE grades were grades 9-7 in the summer of 2022, and also celebrated a very strong performance at A Level in with 70 % of candidates awarded an A*- B grade.

The College has its own salary scale, and applicants will wish to contribute to College’s rich co-curricular programme. The Head of Biology can expect to teach a reduced timetable.
