Head of Psychology
A well-qualified and experienced teacher of Psychology is required to lead this thriving department. The successful candidate will provide vision for the development of the subject, strong leadership and skilful team management. Experience of BTEC Applied Psychology is desirable but not essential.
Applicants should have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the subject which can in turn, be passed on to our students.
Although small, the department has a strong team ethos and is dedicated to collaboration and open sharing of resources; there is a wealth of teaching resources shared across the department that the appointee would have access to. Within the department there is extensive experience of external examining and should you wish, you will be encouraged to pursue this area of professional development with the support of both the Head of Department and the Senior Leadership Team.
