Cheltenham College’s ICT Department looks to appoint an Infrastructure Lead. The Infrastructure Lead supports, maintains and improves the resiliency of the College infrastructure services, platforms and systems (full details can be found in the job description).

With the support of the ICT Team, the postholder will carry out planned system upgrades and timely patches, troubleshooting and resolving time-critical operational incidents and problems as well as assisting in implementing new physical or virtual services, complex changes and upgrades to existing systems.

As part of the department management team, the Infrastructure Lead will help identify and deliver continuous improvements and innovation. This includes seeking, scanning, assessing and leveraging trends in technology and ideas, developing your own skills and the skills of others in the team, improving processes and practices and ensuring relevant, current, valid knowledge remains available to support all activities and facilitate decision making within the department.

– Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, with a degree of flexibility in order to support key events.

– Salary: Grade F: £28,548 to £31,102 per annum depending on experience

– Complimentary lunch is provided during term time as is free membership to College’s gyms and swimming pool.
