As Cheltenham College looks to evolve its IT Support function, we seek to appoint a Service Desk Team Lead (SDTL) who will help establish an IT Service Desk that provides a central point of contact, and the best possible service, for teaching and support staff, students, and also parents.
The SDLT will be responsible for customer service and support, ensuring performance targets and expectations are met through effective team leadership and being first point of escalation for all service issues across the schools.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate great people, team and organisational skills and be articulate and capable communicators possessing the ability to translate technical explanations into customer-focussed language.
As part of the department management team, the SDLT will help identify and deliver continuous improvements and innovation.

– Hours of Work: 37.5 per week, with a degree of flexibility in order to support key events.
– Salary: Grade F/G: £28,548 to £33,000 per annum depending on experience
