School ICT Technician

Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Closing date for application: 21/05/2023

Cheltenham College, Winner of Independent Boarding School of the Year (2022-2023), is looking to appoint someone with previous IT Support experience who can deliver excellent customer service and help administer a wide range of IT products and solutions. Experience using both Windows and Apple operating systems, working with people with varied IT skills levels or previous experience working in an IT support team would be an advantage.

The job would suit someone early in their IT career who is wanting to develop and progress into a more senior position.

We are not expecting the successful candidate to walk into this role with all the skills and knowledge needed; the right aptitude and willingness to learn are more important as training will be provided.

Regardless of seniority and experience the postholder will be responsible for providing a mix of first and second line support, as well as helping evolve and improve our systems.

The focus of the small, close-knit, busy IT team varies throughout the school year with term-time geared to both helping teachers and pupils with the technology in support of a wide range of internal activities and external events.

Full details of the role and benefits of working at Cheltenham College can be found in the attached job description.

Salary in the range of £22,881 to £26,241 per annum depending on experience.
