Part-Time – (0.59 FTE)

For September 2024 Cheltenham College seeks to appoint a well-qualified, part-time Teacher. The post-holder will teach the subject across the ability range up to A Level and form part of a ten-teacher, well-resourced department where grades are consistently high and students go on to read English at Oxbridge. The part-time Teacher of English will teach 16 lessons per week (0.59 FTE).

The department is involved in a growing programme of co-curricular activities, such as the Literary Society, debating and extension classes and, in addition to teaching their subject(s), members of Common Room are expected to act as tutors, be attached to day or boarding Houses and will wish to contribute to College’s rich co-curricular programme.
