For September 2024, Cheltenham College seeks to appoint a Physics Teacher, a role that would equally suit an experienced teacher looking for a new role or an ECT who is beginning their teaching journey.

We would also consider a recent Physics graduate who is keen to pursue a career in teaching.

At Cheltenham College, pupils studying GCSE and A Level Physics have the opportunity to discover and explore the building blocks of the universe in state-of-the-art facilities taught by specialist subject teachers. All pupils take their Physics lessons in one of our five recently renovated, well-equipped university standard laboratories.

The Physics Department is forward-looking and dynamic with an excellent academic record over many years. The successful candidate will be able to stretch the highest attaining pupils, (including to Oxbridge level), whilst also being able to use a range of strategies to teach across the ability range.
