For a September 2022 start, College is looking to appoint a Resident Sports Professional to be responsible for the coaching of pupils in sport throughout the Senior School and The Prep and, additionally, taking on the duties of a Resident Tutor in a boarding house.  This is a term-time only role (33 weeks) and the postholder is provided with accommodation.

Experience of coaching netball, tennis/or hockey would be advantageous, and the post-holder should be capable of developing the athletic and sporting capabilities of pupils within College’s Talented Athlete Programme.

Under the line management of the Director of Sport, the Sports Professional will also assist in the management of key areas of the busy sports programme, gaining valuable experience in administration, marketing and communications. There may be opportunities for sports professionals to assist in Sport Science lessons and it is encouraged that all sports professionals actively seek to develop their coaching.

The salary will be commensurate with experience (starting at £16,650 – based on 0.7 of a full-time starting salary of £23,400).

The postholder will also receive an Extra Responsibility Allowance of £1,630 for being a Resident Tutor in a boarding house.
