School Administrator (Accounts & Database) 42 Weeks per annum
Role: Permanent
Weeks: 42 per year (Term-Time plus 9 additional weeks)
To join our busy, but friendly front office team, Cheltenham Prep School seeks to appoint an outstanding administrator with significant office experience and a keen eye for detail. Whilst experience of working in a school is not essential, it would be highly desirable, though candidates with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to learn new systems quickly would also be very suitable.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, day-to-day running of the The Prep by providing a variety of administrative tasks, including accurate data entry across a number of databases and registers. They will also work closely with the Finance team to ensure invoices are correctly processed and budgets are kept up-to-date and monitored.
Due to the amount of data that requires processing, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential. Applicants should be confident in their communications at all levels, including colleagues, parents, pupils and our external suppliers and stakeholders.
In order to really thrive in this role, applicants should: work well with deadlines, be able to comfortably juggle multiple tasks and prioritise their own workload during busier periods.
Benefits include: Lunch during term time, Executive Pension Scheme, complimentary membership to College’s gyms and pool as well as discounts at local retailers, health & wellbeing and hospitality venues.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.30 pm with an hour for lunch.
Salary will be based on College Scale Point C and shall be pro-rated to reflect the part-year nature of the role.
Salary range: £23,000-£25,400 (Actual range: pro rated to £21,045.15 to £23,251)
