Boarding House Maintenance Person
Cheltenham College has a vacancy for a new member of staff in the House Maintenance Team. Boarding House Maintenance staff report to the school’s Estates Manager and are the initial point of contact for maintenance matters relating to the upkeep of our boarding houses.
Applicants will need a full and clean driving license and should have previous experience in DIY and maintenance.
Main duties will include: painting, decorating and repair of damaged fixtures & fittings, low-level electrical equipment repairs (e.g. light-bulb changes, plug re-wires, battery changes etc.), plumbing tasks (new tap washers, unblocking toilets/drains etc.), minor carpentry tasks (hanging pictures, easing doors etc.) and storage and retrieval of trunks/suitcases at the start and end of term.

Hours: 39 hours per week (8am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm on Fridays)
Salary: £21,193.50 per annum
