Teacher of Computing and Computer Science
For September 2024, a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher or recent graduate is required to teach Computing and Computer Science.
The Computing Department is thriving and the subject is becoming increasingly popular with a good number of pupils taking the subject. The successful candidate will continue to promote the subject successfully and enthuse pupils of all ages. Applicants must be able to program in Python at a competent level, with OOP being a requirement for A Level.
The post will involve teaching Computing, Computer Science, Information Technology and Digital Literacy at various points across the age range from 3rd Form (Year 9) to Upper College (Years 12 & 13).
Candidates should state in their application any additional subjects that they are confident to teach.
We would be able to support a Newly Qualified Teacher and we would also be happy to receive applications from those looking to train via a work-based PGCE route.
In addition to teaching their subject(s), members of Common Room are expected to act as tutors, be attached to day or boarding Houses and will wish to contribute to College’s rich co-curricular programme and participate in College’s professional development programme.
