For September 2022, Cheltenham College seeks to appoint an experienced teacher, NQT or well-qualified graduate to teach A Level Economics. The ability of the appointee to teach some A Level Business Studies, if required, is desirable.  A recent graduate in a suitable discipline without teaching experience would also be considered.

The department is characterised by a real sense of confidence, enthusiasm and enjoyment, where colleagues and students engage in lively academic debate. There are excellent working relationships amongst staff, an abundant sharing of resources and ideas, and innovation is both welcomed and facilitated. The College has its own competitive salary scale. A number of resident roles might be available, and applicants should indicate in their covering letter if a pastoral role with accommodation would be of interest. An Extra Responsibility Allowance is given for Resident/Pastoral roles, but they cannot be guaranteed.
